Most of the students in our Pre-Professional program – the highest level of study at Chambers Performing Arts – go on to professional performing careers. But planning begins many years earlier.
Each student has differing career needs, and we will assist students in their entire path. We help them set realistic goals for a professional career in performing arts, and we offer career guidance to intermediate and advanced students. We have had students gain Broadway shows at age 10, and others at age 30. Other students gain entry and (most on partial and full scholarships) to the most prestigious conservatories in the United States, and then go on to a performing career. Some appear in music videos and make the move to Los Angeles. Others are offered apprenticeships by renowned ballet companies at very young ages. Again, others choose regional schools where they feel a great fit. There is no “right” path to choose since it varies by the individual, but the training is the most important facet of any student-which will lead them to achieve their goals. Director Susan Chambers has been placing her students in the top programs in the United States since 1980, and maintains those relationships to assist alumni. Co-Director Paige Chambers is also currently a tap trainer for the Broadway show Billy Elliot, and maintains ongoing relationships with her Broadway agents, contacts, and network of professionals—so that Chambers alumni are not only trained and prepared, but fully connected when they are ready to become a professional.
