Chambers Dance & Theatre Company

The Chambers Dance and Theatre Company is a 501 © (3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1988 by Susan Chambers, known as The Susan Chambers Dance Company, and was re-named The Chambers Dance and Theatre Company (CDTC) in 2020. Under the direction of Paige Chambers, a CDTC Alumni, former Broadway performer and Radio City Rockette (NYC), the Company presents the universal language of dance and musical theatre through fully-licensed musical performances, dance concerts, plays, lectures and demonstrations. Performances are presented in professional theaters, assisted living facilities, school venues, and at various community venues.

The Company is unique in its commitment to performing all forms of dance, theatre, voice, and acting.

Serious pre-professional performers ages 6-18 have the opportunity to audition for the following CDTC Companies:

  • Musical Theatre Company: Dance, Vocal, and Acting Focus
  • Dance Company: Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre
  • Acting Company: Acting Technique and Performance
  • Vocal Ensemble: Vocal Technique and Performance

CDTC Alumni can be seen on Broadway, as Radio City Rockettes, performing with national and international dance companies, performing in regional theatre across the U.S., and gleaning scholarships to the top dance and musical theatre conservatories and universities in the country.

CDTC is led by alumni Paige Chambers, who is a former Broadway performer and Radio City Rockette (NYC) and is current Director of Chambers Performing Arts. She was hired by Tony winner Susan Stroman while still in high school and dancing with CPA, and then went on to work with the top choreographers and directors in the history of Broadway. She has directed over 40 musicals for CDTC, and works collaboratively with dance choreographers from all over the country who set works on our CDTC members. 

CDTC is one of the only companies in the U.S. with a focus on the highest caliber training and performance opportunities for all of the following forms of performing arts: 

  • All forms of dance
  • Musical theatre
  • Voice
  • Acting


Our Alumni can be seen on Broadway, as Radio City Rockettes, with the Joffrey Ballet Company, and with the nation's top dance companies. 

Open auditions for The Chambers Dance and Theatre Company are held annually in April for positions in the upcoming season (August through June). Audition packets for the 2020-2021 season are available now.
